Welcome to the Bhattarai Research Group at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University!

Our research focuses on development of a wide range of novel biomaterials, that are compatible with biological systems. These materials can be used for a broad spectrum of biomedical applications such as implantable devices, tissue engineering, and imaging-therapeutic agents.  Some examples of our biomaterials consist of engineered micro-particles for local and systemic delivery of drugs and biomimetic scaffolds to enhance cell proliferation and differentiation.
